Tobian Language School is your online language school. We are registered in Groningen, the
Netherlands. We are a team of more than a 100 experienced and motivated teachers from 5
different continents teaching a wide variety of over 25 languages. Fun, flexibility and growth
are our core values of at Tobian Language School.
Tobian Language School cooperates with freelancers from all around the world.
Our tutors are teaching online which means they can work from any location, as long as they have an internet connection. Some of our teachers are also teaching face-to-face in Groningen, the Netherlands.
We are cooperating together with both certified and non- certified teachers.
Nevertheless, all our teachers are experienced and motivated.
Tobian Language School provides lessons online for all levels and all ages. Most of our teachers are using video conferencing tools such as Zoom/Skype/Google Meet for their lessons. The choice is up to the teacher.
Each lesson is normally 60 minutes. In addition, Tobian Language School primarily receives requests for 1 to 1 classes but we also offer lessons for small groups of 2-4 students.
Our service is based on offering students a package of 20 lessons and based on our team’s feedback most of our students take around 2 lessons a week. When starting with a new student this normally means a commitment of around 10
weeks from you.
Please keep track of the lessons, so we know when a package finishes.
Tobian Language School always checks the availability and preferences of the students.
Afterwards we try to find the right teacher. For most of the popular languages we have a Whatsapp group per language with the teachers where we announce the new students. For all other languages we forward the information to the teachers privately.
Tobian Language School always provides study materials. For most of the European languages such as English, French, Spanish, German, Portuguese and Dutch we have inhouse study materials and exams which our teachers can use.
Some teachers are adding new materials every now and then and Tobian Language School is paying them.
For other languages, Tobian Language School also provides third party study materials.
