About The Course

Tobian Language School offers a wide range of different classes. If you need to learn a language for school, business or because you are traveling: Tobian Language School has an option to suit your needs. With our comprehensive and international group of teachers we can help you with all kinds of lessons. We offer both private and group lessons in small groups of 2-3 students. Our teachers use Skype/Zoom/Google Meet and each lesson is 60 minutes. Many of our teachers are bi- or even trilingual so if you prefer some explanation in your native language, we can get you the right teacher. Usually we work with packages of 20 lessons. Before you commit, we will arrange an intro chat with the teacher where you can make personalised arrangements.

What's included in The Other Languages

We offer language courses in all different levels from A1 to C2 according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR). The Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) is an international standard for describing language ability. It describes language ability on a six-point scale, from A1 for beginners, up to C2 for those who have mastered a language.

Danish, Swedish, Norwegian and Finnish 🇩🇰🇸🇪🇳🇴🇫🇮

According to a study conducted by the Foreign Service Institute, Danish, Swedish and Norwegian are among the easiest languages to learn for English native speakers. Luxembourgish 🇱🇺

Many foreigners living in Luxembourg speak Luxembourgish in their everyday life, such as at work or with their children. In addition, one of the official requirements to obtain citizenship is to pass a Luxembourgish language exam called ‘Sproochentest’. Catalan

The Catalan language is spoken in three regions of Spain: Catalonia, Valencia, and the Balearic Islands. Outside Spain, it is the official language of Andorra. FAQs About Additional The Language Courses

Are all lessons online?

Yes, all lessons are live online lessons with Zoom/Skype. Each lesson is 60 minutes. In some special cases we have face-to-face lessons available in the Netherlands.

Do you have lessons for children?

Yes, we have experience with teaching children. We offer lessons for all age groups that can operate a computer.

Can I choose when I want to take my lessons?

Yes, we are flexible regarding the schedule. We can provide lessons during the morning, afternoon, evening and even on the weekends.

How many lessons does it take to finish one level?

From our experience it highly depends on the language, pace, motivation, commitment and skills of the student. In general we use the following reference for the European languages:

A1 level: 20 – 30 lessons.

A2 level: 30 – 40 lessons.

B1 level: 40 lessons.

For B2, C1 and C2 the hourly volume is variable.

Do you provide study materials, exams and a certificate?

Yes, we provide digital study materials for the classes. At the end of the course we provide an exam and a certificate for our students.
